Auntie Vira’s™ — eliminates viruses using clinically proven and thoroughly documented plant based ingredients.

Unexpected illness is the curse of productive people. Whether it’s as insidious as a reoccurring cold sore outbreak or equally devastating like the flu, only one thing is certain: an interruption in our normal life.

That’s why it’s important to use scientifically proven tools available to prevent and treat disease. While some microbes like bacteria can be contained by antibacterial handsoaps and other products, use and availability of antiviral products are less common.

Evidence Based Antiviral Formula

For years, scientists have been aware of the power of terpenes and other plant derived components in effectively eliminating free virus particles, interfering with viral multiplication and preventing virus from entering host cells.

In a 2014 study, two monoterpene compounds of essential oils, i.e. β-pinene and limonene were examined for their antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) in vitro. The terpenes exhibited high anti-HSV-1 activity by direct interaction with free virus particles.1

In 2008, a study essential oils from anise, hyssop, thyme, ginger, camomile and sandalwood were screened for their inhibitory effect against herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) in vitro. It was observed that these constituents affected HSV-2 mainly before adsorption probably by interacting with the viral envelope. Terpenes from these oils exhibited a high selectivity index and seems to be a promising candidate for topical therapeutic application as virucidal agents for treatment of herpes genitalis.2

A 2012 study examined the anti-herpes simplex virus type I activity of thymol-related monoterpenoids. Results suggest that thymol and carvacrol are potential candidates for topical therapeutic application to reduce herpes simplex virus transmission.3

In 2009 major monoterpene compounds α‐terpinene, γ‐terpinene, α‐pinene, p‐cymene, terpinen‐4‐ol, α‐terpineol, thymol, citral and 1,8‐cineole were examined for their antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV‐1) in vitro. These essential oils were able to reduce viral infectivity by >96%, the monoterpenes inhibited HSV by about >80%. 4

In a 2007 study, scientists demonstrated a disruption of the viral envelope after pretreatment of HSV with essential oils, thereby impairing their abilities to infect host cells.5

Prevent Interruption

When we analyzed this information and realized virtually no products exist utilizing this knowledge we were determined to create a product that gives people the power to defeat the viral threat.

Introducing Auntie Vira’s Essential Blend Diffuser Oil, a synergistic blend using evidence based research and including only the highest purity food grade natural terpenes.

Rest assured, with safety in mind, ingredients in this trade secret blend are GRAS (generally regarded as safe by the FDA.)

Directions: Use a steam, oil, or nebulizing diffuser to significantly reduce the amount of airborne virus.
